FSc (HSSC) or A-Level 40%
Matric (SSC) or O-Level 10%

Calculate your PMC aggregate instantly with our free PMC Aggregate Calculator. The Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) introduced the standardized MDCAT-based admission framework for MBBS and BDS programs in Pakistan, and the aggregate formula it established remains the standard for medical merit: 50% MDCAT, 40% FSc, and 10% Matric. This tool computes your aggregate from your MDCAT score, FSc marks, and Matric marks in seconds. It is made for FSc pre-medical students, MDCAT candidates, repeaters working to improve their scores, and parents or counsellors guiding applicants. Knowing your aggregate early lets you compare it with previous years’ closing merits, shortlist realistic college options, and plan your next attempt if the numbers fall short. The calculator is free, instant, and needs no sign-up.

PMC Aggregate Formula

The PMC aggregate is calculated with this official weightage formula:

Aggregate = (MDCAT % x 0.50) + (FSc % x 0.40) + (Matric % x 0.10)

For example: MDCAT 175/200 = 87.50%, contributing 43.75; FSc 1010/1100 = 91.82%, contributing 36.73; Matric 1030/1100 = 93.64%, contributing 9.36. Total aggregate = 89.84%. This weightage follows the admission policy used for medical and dental colleges in Pakistan. Always confirm the current formula with the official admission notification, as policies can be revised.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the PMC aggregate formula?

The aggregate gives 50% weightage to MDCAT marks, 40% to FSc (HSSC) or A-Level equivalence marks, and 10% to Matric or O-Level equivalence marks.

Is PMC still the admitting authority for medical colleges?

The Pakistan Medical Commission has been replaced by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) as the regulator. The aggregate formula shown here follows the admission policy currently used for MBBS and BDS admissions; always check the latest official notification for any changes.

What aggregate do I need for MBBS admission?

Closing aggregates change every year with MDCAT difficulty and applicant numbers. Compare your result with previous years’ closing merits of your target colleges, and browse all university merit calculators to explore your options.

Can A-Level and O-Level students use this calculator?

Yes. Enter your IBCC equivalence marks in the FSc and Matric fields with the corresponding total marks, and the calculator applies the same weightage.

How is this different from the MDCAT Aggregate Calculator?

The formula is identical. This page follows the PMC-era admission framework, while our MDCAT Aggregate Calculator presents the same calculation in general terms. Use whichever you prefer.
