PMC Aggregate Calculator | Your Medical Admission Companion

Every year, thousands of students imagine themselves in white coats, ready to become doctors. Then they hear about the Medical and Dental College Admission Test, or MDCAT. Suddenly, questions start flying. What is the MDCAT, really? What score gets me into MBBS? How do they even calculate my aggregate? What’s the passing mark? Am I actually eligible for medical college?

To answer all these questions our team has built a PMC Aggregate Calculator. Just input the score of your Matric, FSc and MDCAT test. It shows you exactly where you stand and lets you plan your next steps with confidence.

About PMC

The Pakistan Medical Commission, or PMC, took charge of regulating medical and dental education and practice all over Pakistan. It came into existence in 2020, stepping in for the old Pakistan Medical and Dental Council. The goal? To bring medical education up to date, make admissions fairer, and set clear standards for registering doctors and dentists.

PMC supervised all provinces and territories in Pakistan, including Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Baluchistan, and Islamabad Capital Territory. It monitored both public and private medical and dental colleges to ensure that education and professional standards remained consistent throughout the country.

How PMC Calculate Your Aggregate?

Here’s how it works:

Your final aggregate is calculated on the basis of your Matriculation marks, FSc (Pre-Medical) marks and your MDCAT score.

Here’s how they usually break it down in KPK:

  • 10% from your Matric marks
  • 40% from your FSc marks
  • 50% from your MDCAT (ETEA) score

The formula looks like this:

So, the formula looks like this:

Aggregate = (Matric % × 0.10) + (FSc % × 0.40) + (MDCAT % × 0.50)

Why Use a PMC MDCAT Aggregate Calculator?

Who Needs this Aggregate Calculator?

What Counts as a Good Aggregate?

If your score is above 90%, you’re in an excellent position for public medical colleges. Scores between 85% and 89% still keep you in the running. If your aggregate falls below 85%, private colleges may become your best option. Remember, cutoffs can change each year as competition varies.
